For a very well maintained list of phones that meet the standard and will work with this chip, check out this link. The chip I'm using will work on almost all Android phones as long as NFC is enabled in your settings. some very old phones which support NFC may have been made before this standard was created. It also is using the chip which is defined to be the standard for all NFC phones. The chip I'm using I had custom manufactured for a specific size, and to be waterproof so it doesn't get ruined in the liquid resin. The chip is unlocked so if you know what you're doing you can reprogram it. NFC chips and come pre-programmed and only in the resin model. Shapeways has it's own shipping set up so you can choose your shipping options from them if you end up ordering that version. It's $5 shipping per order, or $12 if you're outside the USA. Pouches are $25 and will come with a metal clasp and leather lace. Made from genuine leather and are just small enough to fit in your fist (only 25 available in the first batch, as seen in photos I've already posted) Metal version, traditionally manufactured, cast in pewter with a patina applied (no chip): $70 and are also available now.Ĭast resin with embedded NFC chip, functioning as seen in the video, sanded, painted weathered to look like metal, $45 Shapeways version: 3D printed in a variety of options, both metal and plastics, ships directly from Shapeways (no chip): prices range from $22-75 (use this link to order from shapeways directly don't paypal me for this.) Ok, options are currently available for order:
